Danny Rischin
Danny Rischin graduated from Monash University, and completed his internal medicine and medical oncology training in Melbourne and Toronto. He was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Monash University for subsequent research. Currently he is the Co-Director of the Division of Cancer Medicine and Director of the Department of Medical Oncology at the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre, and holds an academic appointment as Professor of Medicine at the University of Melbourne. He is also an Associate Editor of the Journal of Clinical Oncology. His major clinical and research interests are in gynaecologic and head and neck and cancers.
He was Chair of the ANZGOG Research Advisory Committee 2002 – 2010, has been an executive member of ANZGOG since its inception and is a current member of the Board. In 2012 he was awarded the ANZGOG Award for Outstanding Contribution.
He has published over 200 peer reviewed publications (15,000 citations)
